The traveling theater troupe Chopalovitch, led by Camille de La Guillonnière, visits Fontevraud-l’Abbaye for a performance that examines art’s essential role in life. Set in a village under foreign occupation, the play explores the interactions between curious artists and bewildered villagers facing misunderstandings and cultural clashes. Featuring a talented cast including Jean-Baptiste Breton and Isabelle Brochard, the performance mixes comedic moments and thoughtful dialogue. The lighting by Yannick Besson and Lucas Martin-Dupré enhances this distinctive theatrical experience.
