The Meistratzheim festival is a strong cultural keep because the source links sauerkraut, folklore and organized village tradition. The 46th edition is organized by the local music society and Groupe Folklorique Concordia, bringing folk music and dance groups from Alsace and beyond. The program includes a 3 p.m. procession, sauerkraut lunch by reservation and refreshments on the Place de la Mairie. It is a clear food-and-folklore event, not just a meal.
