Reproductions of postcards of Plounéour-Ménez from the last century hang in the park of the Abbaye du Relec and along the streets of the bourg. Their picture sides carry the commune’s landscapes, its trades and its places of daily life. On the reverse, messages of all kinds pass on fragments of ordinary existence. The old views and the standing village, read side by side, let a walker measure what the built and natural heritage has kept.

Solomon Rossine : La Bretagne qui est toujours avec toi
The Chapelle des Ursulines at Lannion hangs the series Solomon Rossine completed after thirty-five years in the town. 77 oil paintings and many drawings came out of excursions made on foot, by bike and by car, always with a sketchbook. Visitors follow what those sketchbooks brought back: the old train station, the streets of Lannion, rain in the countryside. Wayside shrines, Breton festivals and the Pardon give the series its subject.
Empreintes du crépuscule: linocut at Saint-Thélo
At nightfall the Maison des Toiles at Saint-Thélo opens the house of a linen-cloth merchant for a linocut workshop. Visitors read its architecture detail by detail in the failing light, then cut a block and print what they took from it. Their prints are set beside the work of Jeanne Malivel, the artist who worked in woodcut. The sittings belong to Les Minutes Bleues, which opens twenty-four heritage sites of the Côtes d’Armor in blue light.
Les îles d’Iroise d’hier à aujourd’hui, au CEMO
The Centre d’Étude du Milieu d’Ouessant gives over its Ar Gouzou hall to two displays on the heritage and history of the island. One carries the title « The Iroise Islands: Past and Present », the other « The Islands of Ouessant ». Photographs sit beside documents and personal accounts. They record the life and the landscapes of the archipelago over time, assembled by the centre that studies the Iroise milieu.
Une épopée urbaine : Redon en photographies
Redon’s urban fabric has been forming since the Middle Ages, and the second half of the twentieth century reshaped the town and the way its people lived in it. The photographs put that change on view and ask what inhabiting the town means now. The City of Redon mounts the exhibition with the Groupement culturel breton des Pays de Vilaine and the APPHR. It belongs to La Bogue d’Or, the autumn season Redon gives to Breton tale and music.
Exhibition « Le fest-noz s’affiche »
A fest-noz poster is first an announcement and then a keepsake of a night already past. The exhibition asks what such a poster is for, what it can do visually, and where it turns up: billboards, bus shelters, EDF transformers, the rear window of a car. It also sets out a short history of the fest-noz, carried on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Ti ar Vro Treger-Goueloé and Dastum Bro-dreger are partners in it.
