Océanolab – Projet Alcid in Brittany allows visitors to engage with the vital intersection of climate science and marine ecology. This innovative project, led by researchers focused on algae, climate change, and biodiversity, seeks to understand how Breton algae and dependent organisms will adapt to rising seawater temperatures. Visitors can view 12 basins featuring 7 different species of algae, offering a glimpse into the local ecosystem’s response to climate change. The project is open daily during school vacations, as well as Wednesdays, weekends, and public holidays, providing an interactive experience for those interested in environmental issues.
