Ce que la pierre garde presents Paulina Okurowska’s mosaic work with recycled Breton slate, a material carrying roofs, weather and rural building memory. Cut, tilted and set with glass or gold leaf, the stone becomes relief, landscape and light. Schist and weathered roof tiles retain their Breton mineral identity even as they become contemporary relief, landscape and light.
