Fête de la Mer in Trouville-sur-Mer: Maritime Celebrations

The Fête de la Mer is a longstanding tradition in Trouville-sur-Mer, dating back to 1933. Originally a blessing of the sea, it has transformed into a notable celebration of ocean life and the culture of local fishermen. This year, festivities unfold on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August at the Hôtel de Ville car park from 10 AM to 6 PM. Highlights include a mackerel rillettes competition and a display of beautifully decorated boats.
