Randonnée Mémoire in Faÿ

A remembrance walk from the former village of Faÿ with historical scenes and interpretation linked to the Battle of the Somme.

About this event

Randonnée Mémoire is a commemorative walk connected to the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. The route begins near the remains of the former village of Faÿ and follows the La Régale circuit through a landscape still marked by wartime memory. Members of Le Sapeur Picard animate the afternoon in period costume, turning the walk into a participatory encounter with local history. Coffee, guided interpretation, the Fay trench site and a closing drink frame the route as a community act of remembrance rather than a standard hike.
