In collaboration with École supérieure d’art et de design TALM – Le Mans, artist Aliette Boyer presents her exhibition, “Dans la rivière, peut-être,” in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe. This showcase highlights her explorations along the water’s edge, celebrating the flora and fauna of the Sarthe’s rivers and marshes. The exhibition features about thirty ceramic pieces, engraved shells, drawings, and embroideries, all accompanied by poetic texts reflecting Boyer’s field research and childhood memories. It delves into the rich tales and legends surrounding amphibians, often attributed with enchanting or malevolent powers since the Middle Ages.
