Crepuscule Gourmand a la Rhune in Ascain is carried by The Basque country’s best-known and most-traveled mountain, La Rhune is emptied of all human presence by nightfall. As silence reigns on the flanks of this famous mountain, we’ll be climbing it for a unique experience. The local setting gives the gathering its force: voices, dancers or musicians are not decoration, but the center of the cultural exchange. For Ascain, it adds a living tradition to the regional calendar. Across the series, song, dance or oral tradition returns to the same community setting in Ascain.
