The Grand Pardon de Sainte-Anne d’Auray remains one of Brittany’s central pilgrimage gatherings, organized around the feast of Saint Anne and the sanctuary that has shaped local devotion for centuries. The 2026 program spans processions, Vespers, Mass, a torchlight vigil and a sound-and-light narration of the apparitions. Sunday includes Mass in Breton, a major procession, Pontifical Mass, rosary, solemn Vespers and a Fest-Deiz with Kanerion Pleuigner. The event joins religious practice, Breton language, music and collective memory in a single pilgrimage weekend.
