In Tarnos, Exposition Emazteak, portraits de femmes basques works as an exhibition shaped by Basque women portraits. Part of the « Feminine Figures » series, the exhibition is organized by the Ospitalea Departmental Center for Heritage Education, part of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques Department, in collaboration with the City of Tarnos. This exhibition stems from a participatory initiative by the group Les Bask’elles, which collected profiles of remarkable women—both well-known and lesser-known—who have left their mark on the history of the Basque Country.
