Argentière’s tourist office has turned the old village, its Baroque church and moraine forest into a free nature and heritage quiz for families. The church was built so residents could worship when harsh winters cut them off from Chamonix. Questions along the route explore the village’s traditions and mountaineering past; a downloadable Rail and Trail booklet accompanies the walk.
