The Journées Européennes du Patrimoine presents the cloth windmill in Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier on 20 September 2026. Guided tours will be available from 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, lasting approximately one hour. Visitors will learn about the mill’s history, its restoration, and the mechanics of operation, along with stories of the miller’s life. In addition to the tours, local bakers will offer fresh bread and Viennese pastries baked on-site in a wood-fired oven, creating a local culinary programme. A mini market featuring local producers and craftsmen will present the rich talent and flavors of the region. The programme highlights the windmill’s heritage while fostering a sense of community through local craftsmanship and gastronomy.
