The Foire de Bourail, held from 14 to 16 August 2026 at the Hippodrome de Téné, is presented by New Caledonia Tourism as the territory’s largest agricultural and rural event and as the 48th edition of a major public gathering. The fair brings breeders, producers, artisans and families together around the brousse way of life. Its inclusion is justified culturally because it is more than a trade fair: it is an intergenerational showcase of rural identity, local production and New Caledonia’s cultural diversity.
