Every summer, E.S.T.R.A.N. Cité de la Mer presents the Jardin des Mers in Dieppe, inviting children to explore the marine environment. Activities occur Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children aged 4 to 10 can engage in hands-on projects such as constructing a model ‘Drakkar’ Viking ship and exploring the coastline at low tide. The program is designed for learning through play, featuring activities like a driftwood workshop, kite flying, and fishing on foot. With only 8 spots per half-day, experienced leaders ensure each child’s safety and engagement. Participants should wear boots for beach outings and be prepared with a raincoat, if necessary.
