Into The Winds, directed by Adrien Reboisson, turns the Salle des fêtes de Lanvallay into a Renaissance dance floor. An initiation session in medieval and Renaissance dances comes first, then the ball itself. The ensemble reads its steps from l’Orchésographie de Thoinot Arbeau and plays on instruments anciens. The ball belongs to Arsonora, the medieval music festival of the Association Fête des Remparts de Dinan. Costumes can be hired on site.

Concert Ô Marché : La Tarte à Timbre!
L’Escadron Volant de la Reine brings its Concerts Ô Marché series to the Salle des colonnes in Nogent-le-Rotrou. La Tarte à Timbre! gives this baroque programme its title. Viol, violin, double bass and guitar are among the instruments announced for the series. The free half-hour format is part of the ensemble’s regular local concert activity. The group also organises Les SuPercheries across the Perche.
Concert Ô Marché : l’Escadron Volant de la Reine
The Escadron Volant de la Reine brings its Concert Ô Marché series into the salle des Colonnes of the Nogent-le-Rotrou town hall. The players set out a short baroque programme on viole, violon, contrebasse and guitare, announced under the title La Tarte à Timbre. Entry costs nothing and the set runs about thirty minutes, so it can be caught between errands on the market forecourt. Each date of the season digs into another corner of baroque music.
Airs et Songes de la Traversière
Gabrielle Rubio brings the baroque transverse flute to Airs et Songes de la Traversière at Beaune’s Hôtel-Dieu. Hiéryne Lassale joins her on viola da gamba, Thibaut Roussel on theorbo and baroque guitar, and Cécile Chartrain on harpsichord. Rubio’s dual practice as flautist and guitarist reflects her training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique and the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles.
Festival Musicancy in Ancy-le-Franc: Musical Journey

Occitan Ancient Music Concert in Verges: Cultural Experience
Occitan early music brings singing, theorbo and early flute together in Verges. The theorbo is a large member of the lute family, developed from bass and contrabass lutes. Its extended bass strings give the low notes greater clarity and power, a feature of an instrument historically used for accompaniment.
Les Nouvelles Traversées in Noirlac: Music Celebration
Les Nouvelles Traversées brings vocal and instrumental music to Noirlac Abbey.
