The “Laissez Verdure” exhibition in Bourges draws inspiration from the last words of George Sand, said on June 8, 1876. These words resonate as a manifesto, inviting reflection on current ecological concerns. More than a century later, the exhibition encourages visitors to ponder how to engage with Sand’s legacy. This initiative presents a collective narrative crafted by young student-artists from ENSA Bourges, led by art historian Stéphanie Jamet and artist Vanessa Fanuele. Working alongside studio managers Hugo Bonnet-Massip and Jessie Morin, they invite audiences to immerse themselves in a dialogue of ecological awareness and interpretation.
