Château de Gizeux hosts craftspeople, artists and historical re-enactors for its heritage festival. Falconry, sheep and goose handling and cloak-and-dagger duels form part of the programme. A large performance involving actors, stunt performers and animals revisits episodes from the château’s history, alongside demonstrations of traditional skills.
