Regalia is Reims at its most monumental: a free night-time multimedia show projected on two major heritage façades, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame and the Basilica of Saint-Remi. The event belongs in a regional culture database because it interprets local history through the city’s own stones, saints, coronations and sacred architecture. At the cathedral, the public is invited to rediscover the symbolic power of one of France’s great Gothic monuments; at Saint-Remi, the show shifts attention to another foundational site of Reims memory. By merging light, music and narration with UNESCO-scale architecture, Regalia makes heritage accessible without flattening it into a generic spectacle. It is a multisite Reims event and the two official monument locations are kept as separate map pins.
