The Son et Lumière Pierre de Keriolet, le bandit de Dieu returns to the open-air theater of Pont Er Groah in Sainte-Anne-d’Auray. More than 130 actors and extras, with animals, carts and period costumes, recreate a 17th-century village to tell the linked stories of Yvon Nicolazic and Pierre de Kériolet. The performance connects the apparition tradition of Saint Anne, the origins of the Sainte-Anne d’Auray pilgrimage site and the dramatic conversion of Kériolet. Running about 90 minutes, it is staged as historical theatre for adults and children.
