The Fêtes de la Saint-Louis are the flagship expression of Sète’s maritime identity. Built around the city’s patronal feast and its famous joutes languedociennes, the 2026 edition fills the centre of Sète, the Cadre Royal and the surrounding quays with processions, tournaments, music and public gatherings. The water-jousting tradition belongs to the port, the canal, the local societies of jousters and the public ritual of the city. The feast offers a direct encounter with Sète’s living maritime heritage.
