Un été animé à Guingamp sets up an afternoon of family activities around the public garden and the banks of the Trieux. The program begins with Breton games, chess, mountain biking, fencing, suction-cup archery, disc golf, pony rides, foosball and board games. Canoeing and kayaking take place nearby on the river at Venelle du Moulin de la Ville. The day then shifts toward performance with Le Manipophone, a puppet show and sing-along by Compagnie La poupée qui brûle, giving the event a balance of outdoor play and live culture.
