Un Jour Encore places central French folk music inside the Berlioz festival’s open musical frame. The ensemble works with dance tunes and melodies connected to the Gargilesse Manuscripts, a repertoire associated with George Sand and the musical memory of Berry and neighbouring regions. The result links scholarly preservation with a living tavern sound: strings, rhythm and regional movement heard as present-tense heritage.
