Saint-Quay-Portrieux was one of the first sea-bathing resorts on the north coast of Brittany, and the guide retraces how it came about. The walk follows Alfred Delpierre, who set the resort going and earned it the nickname « petit Monaco breton ». It leaves from the tourist office, which takes the bookings and needs four adults before a departure goes ahead. The office can cancel in rough weather, so the sea keeps the last word.
Au temps des baigneurs, dans les pas d’Alfred Delpierre
