About this event

ALGAE’s heritage walk in Plouguerneau follows the seaweed history of the Koréjou coast. Set on the Penn Enez dune, the visit looks at tools, seaweed ovens and boats used in the goémonier world, connecting a coastal landscape with the labor and know-how that shaped it. The walk is offered on selected dates in July and August and asks visitors to come prepared for dune walking. Its strength is the close scale: a local maritime industry is explained in the place where its traces can still be read.
