Art Exhibitions in Pleuven: Summer Showcase

This summer, the Chapelle Saint-Thomas in Pleuven presents a dynamic series of art exhibitions featuring a different artist each week. Starting from 6 July, visitors can explore diverse works from local talents, showcasing the art scene in the region. Highlights include Nathalie Morlais’ engaging dried flower art from 6 to 12 July, followed by Betty Gueguen Le Corre’s intricate broderies from 13 to 19 July. Each week brings a perspective with Michel Berry’s photographs on display from 20 to 26 July and Aline Bagnol-Hasle’s engaging seascapes from 27 July to 2 August. From 3 to 9 August, participate in Linda Plassiart’s seascapes intertwined with Breton heritage, transitioning to the abstract works of Yves Loussouarn, Marie-Dominique Loussouarn, and Georges Jain from 10 to 16 August. The journey continues with Jean-Pierre Peulvast’s eclectic exhibition, portraying a blend from the imaginary to the beauties of the real world from 17 to 23 August. Concluding this series, Marie-Hélène Cotten will showcase collages revealing landscapes, seashores, and urban environments from 24 to 30 August. The exhibitions offer a rich opportunity to engage with local artistry and experience the creative expressions that define summer culture in Brittany.
