Festival des Filets Bleus is Concarneau’s historic fishing-port festival and one of Brittany’s oldest public celebrations. Concerts, the Village de la Mer, workshops, sonneurs, fireworks and a grand parade of people in traditional dress put maritime heritage in the foreground. The festival links the blue fishing nets of local memory with music, costume and port identity.
