Fouesnant’s Fête des Pommiers is built around the town’s apple and cider traditions, but its program reaches across food, music, dance and ceremony. The weekend includes a cider and apple juice contest, the presentation of the Apple Blossom Pins, a barbecue meal, a fest-noz and an Apple Tree Mass at Saint-Pierre Church. Sunday’s parade brings bagadoù and Celtic dance groups into the streets before performances on Town Hall Square. The festival closes with the Bell Ringers’ Triumph, Breton music by Dorn Ha Dorn and fireworks at the Balnéides soccer field.
