Les Mardis de Saint-Gilles will delight audiences with an array of musical performances at Église Saint-Gilles in Malestroit this summer. The series opens on 7 July with Ensemble TROBAIRITZ’s ‘Rivages Méditerranéens,’ featuring an atmospheric mix of Mediterranean sounds. On 13 July, the Chœur INSPIRATIONS, led by Maud Hamon-Loisance, presents ‘Prendre racines,’ a choral performance sure to resonate with all who attend. Celtic music on 21 July with ‘Keltia en Iliz,’ featuring organist Henri-Pierre Ruello alongside Éric Quéméré (bombardes) and Loïc Denis (bagpipes). The series continues on 28 July with ‘Dolcissimi Sirène,’ showcasing Italian Baroque melodies performed by soprano Soizick Rouellan and Emmanuel Isembert on the organ. The final event on 4 August, ‘Cloches à main LA SOURCE,’ will feature conductor Michaël Coe and bass-baritone Adrian Brook, bringing the musical journey to a grand close. Each evening begins at 8:30 PM with free admission, encouraging community participation and enjoyment of summer’s soundscapes.
