Escapades Ligériennes arms the toue cabanée that casts off from the Port de Combleux and lands its passengers on a wild island. A nature guide names the edible plants growing there, each by taste, property and use. Eric, the pilot, spends the crossing on the history of the marine fluviale and on the fleuve royal seen from its own current. The walk closes with a tasting, and the boat takes twelve people at most.
A toue cabanée to a wild island of the Loire
A traditional Loire boat leaves the Port de Combleux for a wild island, where edible plants are read by flavour, virtue and use.
