Festival de la Luzege brings Figaro Divorce to Argentat as part of its fortieth edition, with Fabrice Henry directing a large-scale adaptation after Odon von Horvath. The play follows Figaro and Suzanne into exile after the Revolution, where loyalty, ambition and displacement begin to fracture. The production’s 1980s-inspired music gives the story a sharper contemporary vibration without losing its historical pressure. The Argentat stop gives the touring festival another local stage, extending the work beyond a central venue and into the Dordogne Valley public circuit.
