Larrun Kanta Choir in Ascain is rooted in Ascain through voice, repertoire and local memory. The setting at Eglise anchors the event in Ascain. The event draws its interest from voice, repertoire and the communal memory carried through performance. Those elements give the event enough local substance to stand beyond practical date and venue details. As part of Regional Languages & Oral Traditions, it reflects how tradition, place and participation remain connected in the region.
