The exhibition “Les Papiers Volants de Pierre Barouh” showcases unpublished documents of the renowned artist. It includes texts, posters, and photographs that highlight the life of Pierre Barouh (1934-2016), celebrated for musical hits like “Un homme et une femme” and “Samba Saravah.” Barouh, who founded the independent label Saravah in 1966, played a key role in promoting influential artists, including Brigitte Fontaine and Jacques Higelin. Curated by his son Benjamin Barouh, this exhibition offers a rare glimpse into Barouh’s legacy in both Brazilian culture and his adopted home in Vendée. Open daily from 3 PM to 6 PM, with free admission. The opening on June 5 features complimentary fine bubbles from Prieuré La Chaume, marking a start to.
