The Vouvant Organ Festival will feature “L’imaginaire d’un orchestre baroque” on 13 August 2026. Acclaimed organist Louis Alix, known for his performances at Saint-Nicolas-des-Champs in Paris, will lead this carefully staged event. The program includes compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, such as the “Sonatina from the cantata Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit” and the Organ Concerto in D minor, BWV 596, along with works by Jean-Philippe Rameau and Joseph-Nicolas-Pancrace Royer. Classical music lovers will appreciate the intricate melodies of the baroque era in a detailed church atmosphere.
