Le Nouveau Monde is the theme of the Fêtes Renaissance du Roi de l’Oiseau in Le Puy-en-Velay. An archery final and coronation continue the festival’s historic shooting contest, while Renaissance balls, theatre and the fire show Rugissement form part of the programme. The market gathers craftspeople selling costumes, leatherwork, historical weapons and old games, with demonstrations of their skills.
