Alexis Chartraire’s exhibition at Musée Delaveau in Gargilesse was cancelled. The planned show featured colourful marine paintings in oil and gold leaf, between figurative and abstract forms. The painter and writer made his first drawings in George Sand’s garden at Nohant. His planned tribute to the writer included a painting of the house she loved in Gargilesse.
