Les vendredis musicaux de l’été bring two August concerts to Pont-l’Abbé around the meeting point of organ, bombarde and narrated music. The first evening features Claude Nadeau and Rémy Kergozien in an organ-and-bombarde program, a pairing strongly associated with Breton ceremonial and concert repertoires. The following Friday turns toward a narrated concert version of Carnival of the Animals with Guillaume Gionta and François Castang. Organized by Les Amis de l’orgue, the series keeps the Place des Carmes program open through free participation.
