Exposition temporaire au Musée Bonnat-Helleu – Mythologies

In Bayonne, Exposition temporaire au Musée presents mythology and museum collections through an exhibition visitors can read through works and objects.

About this event

Bayonne hosts Exposition temporaire au Musée Bonnat-Helleu – Mythologies, an exhibition where mythology and museum collections drive the programme. The first temporary exhibition since the reopening of the Bonnat-Helleu Museum in Bayonne, “Mythologies” brings together the great founding narratives that span human history, from Pharaonic Egypt to modern Japan, and from ancient Greece to the Basque mountains. Conceived in partnership with the Louvre Museum and with the exceptional participation of the Quai Branly–Jacques Chirac Museum, it brings together nearly a hundred works from all eras and continents.
