Jean Claude Saby leads a free European Heritage Days visit to Montfaucon-en-Velay’s twelve Flemish paintings by Abel Grimmer. Painted on wooden panels, the works combine episodes from the life of Jesus and parables with rural life in Flanders. The cycle follows the seasons, bringing religious and everyday subjects into the same collection.
