Maison Patriarche marks the Hospices de Beaune wine auction with a tasting route through its historic cellars. Ten selected Burgundy wines bring together Premiers Crus, Grands Crus and older vintages, served in an engraved glass that visitors can keep. The cellar journey also includes contemporary works installed with Art in Situ, so paintings and other pieces emerge within the underground architecture as an integrated cellar display. In the Cave aux Arômes, a visual and olfactory display presents the twelve aromatic families associated with Burgundy wines, giving guests another way to read what is in the glass. Gougères and water are available along the route. Wine, art, aroma and vaulted cellar heritage combine in a focused Beaune programme tied to the city’s celebrated auction tradition.
