The George Sand plant maze turns a patch beside Saint-Valentin’s Peynet Media Library into an outdoor literary game. Visitors follow mown paths while answering questions about Sand and her works, recording each response in a booklet before checking the results at the end. The route combines movement, observation and reading, making knowledge of the writer part of navigating a living space. Families and groups of friends can share the challenge, discuss possible answers and discover which parts of Sand’s life or books they know less well. The vegetation is not presented as ornamental background; it provides the structure through which the cultural activity unfolds. By placing a quiz inside a maze, the media library gives literary mediation a playful physical form and links Saint-Valentin’s public landscape with Berry’s most prominent author.
