La Chapelle Sand Correspondence

This adult workshop invites participants to write a letter to George Sand, Gustave Flaubert or both as a present-day personal response to their celebrated correspondence. The exercise can be undertaken individually or collectively, keeping close attention on voice, address, purpose and the particular intimacy of written exchange. Writers engage directly with the letters, entering the conversation by deciding what they would ask, contest or confide. Guidance from Puzzle Centre gives the session a clear literary framework without replacing personal expression.
