Vineyard walks, a cycling route, grower encounters and live music turn the Cheverny harvest festival into a journey through two appellations.

About this event

⚠️ Event concluded. Please check our updated agenda to discover new activities in this region.

The AOC Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny harvest festival invites visitors to read the vineyard landscape through movement, tasting and direct contact with growers. A walk among the vines introduces the terroir and includes a stop to buy provisions from an AOC Cheverny winemaker. Another route covers thirty kilometers by bicycle and passes through an AOC Cheverny winery, turning the appellation into a lived geography beyond the bottle label. The grounds of Château de Cheverny add a landmark setting to the journey. Alongside the routes, activities and live music sustain a convivial festival atmosphere. Wine, food, landscape and producer knowledge come together in a celebration rooted in the two neighboring appellations and the working culture of the Loire vineyards.
