Conférence : La grande histoire du luxe à Châteauroux

A departmental archivist unpicks how Châteauroux and its countryside built a name as a country of luxury, know-how and innovation.

About this event

Jérôme Descoux, a curator at the Archives départementales de l’Indre, unfolds the story that made Châteauroux and the land around it a country of luxury. Savoir-faire and innovation are the threads he follows, drawn from the departmental records he looks after. The talk is given at Le Comptoir Local, the Châteauroux Berry Tourisme counter in the town centre. Entry is by prior booking, within a run of autumn visits and talks in the town.
