George Sand wrote a world where women, long pushed to the margins of legends, guard free speech and an invisible realm. Les Poupées Russes bring that writing into the room as a theatricalised, musical reading held by two actresses and a musician. Reading, song and dance braid until the border between real and fantastic stops holding. The evening joins a trail laid by the médiathèque départementale for the hundred and fiftieth year of her death.
