The Fête de l’Artichaut in Saint-Pol-de-Léon celebrates the beloved artichoke with a festival organized by the Confrérie de l’Artichaut and guest brotherhoods. From 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, visitors can explore an artichoke and local vegetable market offering the finest produce from Brittany. Throughout the day, culinary demonstrations and product tastings will allow attendees to Food options include the region’s flavors. At 11:15 AM, a lively parade featuring brotherhoods and entertainment groups will fill the streets with excitement. The afternoon will showcase performances, dances, and shows that entertain attendees of all ages. At noon, new members of the artichoke brotherhood will be inducted, followed by a lunch area with food trucks under a big top, inviting everyone to enjoy local food. The festival concludes at 6:00 PM with a celebratory finale marked by the ringers’ triumph. With guest performances from the cercle celtique de Morlaix and bagad de Bourg Blanc, the Fête de l’Artichaut provides a varied blend of gastronomy, culture, and community spirit in Brittany.
