The Festival GBB (Gouel Broadel ar Brezhoneg) is a celebration of the Breton language, unfolding over three festive days in Mellac. From June 26 to June 28, 2026, this event features activities for all ages. On Saturday evening, attendees can dance at a traditional fest-noz while enjoying contemporary concerts sung in Breton and other minority languages. Families will The program includes performances by the Bugale GBB children’s choir, along with exciting activities such as gouren (traditional wrestling), circus acts, and an associative village highlighting local culture. The festival includes round-table discussions, cinema screenings, and immersive storytelling sessions that celebrate the Breton narrative tradition. Additionally, Breton language initiation courses will be available throughout the weekend, making it a blend of celebration and education. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Manoir de Kernault, refreshments and meals will be provided on-site, ensuring a comprehensive experience for all visitors.
