The Fête du pain in Brittany is a celebration dedicated to sourdough bread-making and other traditional Breton specialties. On 5 August 2026 at the Ecomusée du Pays d’Auray, the event will feature demonstrations of baking in a classic wood-fired oven. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste fresh bread and learn about the region’s culinary heritage. There will also be a sale of baked goods and traditional crêpes-galettes. Guided tours and pony rides are available, making this a enjoyable day for everyone who appreciates local gastronomy and rural traditions.
