Jeudis de l’Été in Vitré is organised by the Pays de Vitré Tourist Office and has become a recurring city-centre summer gathering. Place du Général de Gaulle hosts music, producer stalls, children’s activities and wooden games from the Centre Social de Vitré’s toy library. The format ties local food, family activity and public performance to the social life of the historic town centre.
