#Objectif Patrimoines Photo Competition in Brittany: Capture

The #Objectif Patrimoines photo competition in Brittany. Showcase your vision of heritage and capture its hidden details this May to September.

About this event

In 2026, Brittany will host the annual #Objectif Patrimoines photo competition, organized by the networks “Communes du Patrimoine Rural” and “Petites Cités de Caractère®”. This competition spans from the Fête de la Bretagne to the European Heritage Days, inviting photography enthusiasts to engage with and interpret the region’s rich heritage. Open to all, participants can express their perspectives on Brittany’s cultural treasures. This year’s theme, “And if heritage were hidden in the details?” encourages entrants to focus on subtle, often overlooked aspects of heritage. Whether it’s a detail in a landscape, an architectural feature, a gesture, or a traditional skill, photographers are challenged to highlight the diverse and often unseen dimensions of Breton heritage. By capturing unexpected scenes, they contribute to a deeper appreciation of Brittany’s cultural wealth, offering personal glimpses into its history and beauty.
